Book art installation

Foldability created a paper art installation for the Deichman library in Oslo made from a cascade of folded books. The pages were sculpted and glued into shape then each book was suspended on site to create a wave effect, using books in a gradient of colours. Under the images of the installation below are examples of prototypes made during the design stage of the project. The paper installation was commissioned by BICO and Scenario interior architects.
