ORIGAMI Installation for plinth

‘Refraction,' was an immersive origami installation created for Plinth during the London Design Festival 2016, made from over 200 folded paper panels. In total, the space included over 52,000 hand folded lines. Visitors could view the space through kaleidoscopes, discovering new shapes and combinations of geometric lines, shapes and shadows. Layer upon layer of origami slinked across the walls, creating an array of detailed patterns. ‘Refraction' aimed to take the viewer on a playful geometric journey, emerging from the space with a smile.
